Dada Statement

From running red lights to looting after hurricane Katrina, cops are people too. They make mistakes and have good qualities and bad ones, but when they use their badge as a weapon or an excuse for bad behavior, it discredits their profession and pisses people off.

This project is a sarcastic look at some of the lesser offenses committed by officers of the law with links to outside sources to information about the increasing problems of criminal cops. The rough animations and illustrations are meant to be humorous by poking fun at some of the stereotipic ideas about cops and their behaviors.

Just about everybody has heard some form of joke about cops and donuts, so the animated idea of a cop running a red light to get to the donut shop is not unfamiliar. Some of the other sarcastic interpretations of cops taking advantage are illustrated by rollover images that dipict cops smoking cigarettes by a NO SMOKING sign and then the image changes to civilians smoking by the same sign with a cop pointing out the err of their ways.

This site is not meant to do harm to anyone or directly reflect the morals of any particular officer of the law. It is just a whimsical expression in fun.
