"Depth of Field"
Video is a great tool for training, entertainment, introduction of new products and information. This video sample was shot and edited by students and interns at Denver Open Media and is used for educational purposes. "Untitled"
Remix project using other artists audio and video to make a new original work of video art. I tend to be a little abstract, so most of the audio/video is unrecognizable from its original source.
The concept - Capture 10 minutes of video or audio based on a random category – exchange with peers. There were a total of 3 audio and 6 video categories – each of us had to use all 3 audio files and at least 3 of the 6 video files. The final video is under 2 minutes.
"Homeless Shopping Network"
I have a fascination with homelessness, so I ventured into the "living rooms" of the homeless of Denver with a camera strapped to my knee.
The concept - Capture 60 minutes of footage with a camcorder attached somewhere on my body, then edit down to 2 minutes exactly while maintaining the idea of homelessness.
